Chaturanga, the 1,500-year-old Indian ancestor of chess, played with its original army: Raja, Mantri, elephants, horses, chariots and foot soldiers. Checkmate the Raja or capture his whole army.
How to play
- Tap one of your gold pieces, then a highlighted square.
- Elephants jump exactly two squares diagonally; the Mantri steps one square diagonally.
- Win by checkmate, or by leaving the other Raja with no army.
